ESSAY ON THE TOPIC "IMPORTANCE OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA."

The constitution of India came into force from 26th January 1950.A special committee is gathered to draw and outline the constitution .The constitution gives all the details related to what is legal and what is illegal in the country .In addition ,with the enforcement of the constitution,the Indian subcontinent become the republic of India .Besides ,the drafting committee consists of seven members that were supervised by D.r Ambedkar  the constitution helps in maintain prosperity and peace in the country .The list of the silent features of Indian constitution  is very long and there are many uniqueness about it that you won't find in any other countries constitution .The first thing that makes the Indian constitution different,is its length .The constitution of India  contains a preamble ,448 articles,25 groups, 12 schedules ,5 appendices .It take around 3 years to complete the draft of the constitution .                               The constitution is hard as well as soft both at the same time.While on another side the supreme power needs to followed carefully to maintain the law and other side the citizen can appeal to amend  the outdated provision .But there are certain provision that can be easily amended .There have been more than 100 amendment  in the constitution.The original constitution does not have preamble but later it was added on  the constitution. Also, it gives a details account of the constitution philosophy.The preamble states that India is a socialist,secular ,sovereign and democratic country.It believes in equality ,justice and freedom of its people . According to the constitution,   India is a secular country that means it doesn't promote  or give a special status to any religion. It means a monarch doesn't rule the country .It is ruled by a nominated and elected people for 5 years.The constitution of the  country states every fundamental duty of its citizen under it .These  duties have to be followed by all the citizens of country equally whether its rich or poor person.                                                                  Constitution, the written form of all the rules and regulations.But these are now just living inside the file and not implementing in society for which equality ,freedom and justice haven't the chance to exist in India ,where love is the essence of life.                                  THANKS
